Hi, I'm John Maurice.

I started Maurice Financial to help business owners stay financially organized through reliable bookkeeping, clear reporting, and proactive communication.

Having owned businesses since 1999, I understand firsthand how easy it is for bookkeeping to get pushed aside while you’re focused on customers, projects, employees, and everything else that comes with running a business. I also understand the value of having accurate financial information when decisions need to be made.

My goal is simple: help clients stay informed, stay organized, and spend less time worrying about their books.

My Background

For more than two decades, I’ve been involved in business ownership, financial operations, and bookkeeping.

Over the years, I’ve worked with multiple bookkeeping systems, including QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online, maintained bookkeeping for my own businesses, and helped other businesses address bookkeeping challenges ranging from routine maintenance to significant cleanup and reconstruction projects.

One thing I’ve learned is that most business owners aren’t looking for complicated financial jargon. They want organized books, dependable communication, and confidence that someone is paying attention to the details.

That’s the approach I bring to every client relationship.
